Rebuilding a School Library at Sooriyawewa Vidyaloka Maha Vidyalaya

With the assistance of the Embassy of Japan, Mr. Sampath (Principal, Vidyaloka Maha Vidyalaya, Sooriyawewa), the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and businessman Mr. Chandika Magalage, Ceylon Youth Movement supported the donation of bookshelves to the school library. Books were also distributed with the sponsorship of several other volunteers.
Small interventions like this — a rebuilt shelf, a stocked library — are part of how we support Educational Life across Sri Lanka’s schools, one community at a time.
